An original painting of wisteria named after my late mother in law who had a stunning arbor of wisteria. As it would grow she would continue to add to the arbor making it even more magical. The extreme float mount frame was created around this idea, leaving room for the wisteria to wrap around the sides of the canvas. It was important to me that the edges of the canvas could be easily viewed from all angles, hence the design of the frame.
Acrylic ink and acrylic paint on unprimed linen. Custom framed in a dark walnut, extreme float frame to show the sides of the painting.
